Patience

I'm going to need patience this week. I don't have a drop of it right now.

P.S. As always, camp was awesome! A completely beautiful weekend at Crooked Creek surrounded by fluffy, crystal-like falling snow and endless mountain trees. I really do love living here!

Good luck with finding patience. I don't think I've met many people with patience to spare. Maybe Laremy. Yes, he would have a little extra. But if you took his, then he would cease to be Laremy I fear.

I have none to offer. But remember, don't pray for patience, whatever you do. The only way to develop patience is to suffer trials. Trust me. You don't want that. Be satisfied with your impatient self and if you must, pray for grace. It doesn't require patience learned by trial, but it has a similar--if not better--effect.

Good point...praying for patience is a dangerous path. Maybe that was my problem last year. :) I prayed for patience so every drop I had was required of me, until I had none left.

So, does that explain why God sent this incredibly difficult parent of one of my students to my attention after I prayed that God would continue to teach me to love others? Yikes!

It has been a "grace-full" week! I am so excited that you will be home for Christmas!!! That is an example of grace right there. I wasn't expecting to see you so soon...so very cool.
